Our new year starts off with a birthday. This year Chad decided he'd like us to go to the Packinghouse with his family. So Ava and I surprised everyone with a birthday cake after supper. Ava picked out the decorations (Barbie) and decorated it herself. One of her favorite songs is "Happy Birthday" which she usually sings for a few weeks with the person of honor's name in it. She's been singing happy birthday to daddy for a while now. His name occasionally gets replaced with Nana-Papa or Grandma Doris.

Happy Birthday Daddy!
