As much as I detest being cold and winters in the midwest, I do love the unexpected surprise of a warm day in the middle of winter. It's kind of like putting your hand in your pocket and finding money in it when you're broke. It's such a nice gift. Today, Ava and I enjoyed our gift by going to the barn for a short ride. It's the first time she's ridden by herself and she was extremely proud of herself.
