So this marks year 6 for me volunteering for the Aledo Area Chamber of Commerce. When I first started working in Aledo I joined the Rotary Club and the Exchange Club but when I became president of the Chamber in '06 I quit the other two. Last year I took on our annual banquet and we did a casino night. This year was the 2nd Annual Casino Night and somehow I got roped into planning it again. Yes, I do love to plan parties, especially when I can spend someone else's money, but it is overwhelming at times. Saturday night was the banquet and we had a great time. I'm just glad it's over!
